The short version

Slokam is a company of AI-native builders. We sit at the sweet spot between services and products — every engagement ships with tooling that makes the next one better. Cloud, data, agentic AI. Old problems, new tools.

The longer version

We’ve spent years inside the cloud consulting ecosystem. We’ve seen the pattern: companies need cloud migration, data platform builds, or AI engineering. They go to a consultancy. The consultancy throws bodies at the problem. The problem gets solved (eventually), but nothing compounds. Next time, you start from scratch.

We think that’s broken.

At Slokam, every engagement produces a product. A migration tool. An analytics agent. A data pipeline framework. That product gets refined with each customer, each edge case, each lesson learned. Our clients don’t just get a team — they get the accumulated wisdom of every engagement before theirs.

Why “Slokam”?

A slokam (श्लोक) is a Sanskrit verse — specifically the anushtubh meter that carries the Bhagavad Gita. Each verse is a complete unit of wisdom: structured, precise, nothing wasted. Each builds on the last. And each is passed from teacher to student across generations.

That’s how we build. That’s how we grow our team. That’s what we believe engineering should feel like.

The team

We’re builders based in Bengaluru. We write Python, Go, and TypeScript. We build on AWS, GCP, and Azure — databases, warehouses, lakes. We think in systems. We believe the best way to learn a domain is to build something in it.

If you’re an engineer who’s bored with one product, one environment, and limited growth — if you feel like a spring waiting for the release — we should talk.
